To help our staff and other audience members, we ask that you familiarise yourself with the below visitor guidelines before attending an event at the Theatre.

We will try as much as possible to maintain the magical atmosphere which our audiences are used to.

The Theatre’s capacity has been reduced for all performances. Numbers have also been reduced for workshops, with participants remaining in their family groups on their own tables.

We will also be doing additional cleaning throughout the Theatre between performances/events. We are also keeping our plastic screens in place at our box office and shop for now.

Testing

We are recommending our adult audience members take a lateral flow test before attending the Theatre. If you test positive or develop Coronavirus symptoms, you must not attend the Theatre. Please email us at [email protected] if you have booked an event, but are unable to attend for these reasons.

Mask

Masks

Due to the recent change in Government guidelines, all adult visitors (unless exempt) must wear a face covering in the Theatre, except when eating or drinking. Our staff and volunteers will continue to wear masks as well.

Distancing

We encourage all visitors to distance as much as possible in the foyer and within the auditorium. We have reduced the capacity of all our shows to allow for empty seats between groups. Seating is unreserved and we ask audience members to be considerate of others.

Tickets

Audience members will be issued with e-tickets. These will need to be shown upon arrival at the theatre, either printed or on a mobile device.

Food and Drink

The cafe bar will be operating as normal and drinks and light snacks will be available. Please be considerate of others whilst queuing.

Shop

The shop will remain open to purchase gifts, including finger and glove puppets. We ask that customers sanitise their hands before handling the puppets.

Sanitising

We will be asking all visitors to sanitise their hands upon entry to the Theatre and will be doing more rigorous cleaning between performances/workshops.

Personal Items

Our cloakroom will remain closed, but visitors are welcome to take their belongings into the performance/event space.

Contact Details

We will use the telephone number on your booking for Test and Trace. Please ensure these details are correct, they will be processed in line with our privacy policy.

Card Payments

We will be encouraging visitors to pay by card or contactless payments as much as possible. Our card machines accept contactless card payments up to a value of £45.
