About Us

It is important to us all at Norwich Puppet Theatre that your experience is enjoyable.

Here is some general information about the venue, but if you have any questions or comments do not hesitate to contact us on 01603 629921 or email info@puppettheatre.co.uk

The venue has level access throughout and we can accommodate wheelchairs in both the Main Theatre and Octagon Studio.

Please note that we are a converted Medieval Church so there is some uneveness in the floor surfaces and one doorway is too narrow to accommodate a wheelchair, but alternative routes are available.

If your group includes a wheelchair it is advisable to book by phone - 01603 629921 - rather than booking online.

For information about our relaxed events, please contact us.

Visual Story

If you or one of your group is new to the Puppet Theatre then follow the link to our Visual Story which explains what is where, and what sort of things you can expect on your visit.

Hearing Loop

The Main Theatre has a hearing induction loop installed.

In addition to the male and female toilets off the foyer, there are two accessible toilets - one off the main foyer and the other near the Octagon Studio.

Baby changing facility

There is a baby changing table and nappy disposal point in the accessible toilet near the Octagon Studio.

There is a small amount of coat hanging space in the vestibule by the toilets. Garments left here are at your risk.

Minimum age recommendation

All activities - performances and workshops - at the Puppet Theatre have age recommendations. For workshops, we have these recommendations in place as the level of difficulty is tailored to the age of the children.

Unless otherwise stated the minimum age for a child to attend a performance is 3 years, this is both for the benefit of the children and other audience members.

You can book tickets online for this event via the UEA ticket office*, or by phone through our box office.
