There are lots of workshop ideas available online - and not just with a Christmas theme.
They are all designed to use simple (and many recycled) materials that can be found in the home.
As well as being fun sessions they can be linked to home schooling craft, storytelling and other sessions.
Get crafty at home with our simple puppet making activity ideas. Get festive this holiday season, with cheeky elves, paper santas and twiggy reindeer. Plus we've got a special guest make in the new year from artist Matt Reeve and his helpful friend Mr Handy.
