A Christmas Paper Trail
Presented by: Norwich Puppet Theatre and the Cathedral Quarter
Thu 16th Nov 2017 to Sat 30th Dec 2017
Price: FREE
Running time: 16 November-30 December
Ages: 0+
16 November - 30 December
This year we've teamed up with four Norfolk schools to create beautiful paper artwork inspired by our Christmas show The Steadfast Tin Soldier.
Follow the paper trail around business windows throughout the Cathedral Quarter of Norwich. Each piece of artwork has a letter - collect all the letters to discover the secret phrase.
Download your print at home map using the link below and follow the trail of paper artwork to our paper castles! TIP: If you print out your map double-sided and fold down the middle, you'll get a nice little booklet. If you don't have a printer, maps can be picked up at the Puppet Theatre or the Tourist Information Centre at the Forum.
Hand in your completed map at Norwich Puppet Theatre or the Forum Tourist Information Centre to be entered into a prize draw to win some special prizes, including free tickets to a Norwich Puppet Theatre show next year!
With special thanks to:
Year 4 and 5 pupils from Avenue Junior School, Bignold Primary, Magdalen Gates Primary and Saxlingham Nethergate CE Primary for creating the paper artwork for us.
Also to artist Gemma Khawaja who designed and co-ordinated the pieces and workshops.
Our volunteers who helped to put together the children's work.
Our Trail Hosts for letting us decorate their windows this Winter, including (but not limited to!):
And finally our supporters, Norwich BID, who made the workshops possible.
Further Information
The prize draw winner and runners up will be picked at random from all completed entries and notified by 8 January 2018.
Please note that you do not need to book for this event. These are just the start and end dates of the Trail. To take part all you will need is a map, some comfortable shoes and eagle eyes to spot the letters.
