Main Theatre

Hire a unique and versatile venue. Norwich Puppet Theatre has a church exterior, period features and fully equipped working theatre stage. Our team of staff and volunteers are on hand to make the setting just right, whatever your event might be.

The Theatre is a charity and all profits from our hire events go back into running our amazing venue and producing more wonderful creative works.

We can host private or public performances, as well as ceremonies, drinks receptions, conferences, rehearsals, clubs and other events.

Spaces

Main Auditorium

The main theatre is an end-on space, with raked seating for up to 140 audience members (150 when we add an extra front row).

Octagon Studio

The Octagon can accommodate up to 50 audience members for a performance. This space is perfect for hosting meetings, rehearsals, and other functions.

Foyer and Bar

The Foyer is a unique entrance space, with a shop, bar, and box office. Our bar is licensed until 11.30pm and our team will be on hand to welcome visitors.

Garden

There is an outdoor space to the rear of the Theatre which has an Amphitheatre and grassed area with picnic benches.

Weddings and Ceremonies Hire

Norwich Puppet Theatre is the perfect place for couples looking for a unique and versatile venue for their special day. We can host everything from a simple ceremony, to a full-on party with a maximum of 150 guests.

Performance Hire

In the past we have hosted performances such as amateur and professional drama groups, burlesque and cabaret nights, dance school showcases, music gigs and many more.

From a single performance to week-long runs, we can accommodate a large range of production types.
