About Us
In addition to creating and touring our own shows for over 30 years, Norwich Puppet Theatre continues to host a variety of touring puppet companies from Britain and overseas, featuring the best of British and international theatre of animation for all ages.

We have hosted several international puppet festivals and in February 2012 we hosted part of the acclaimed Manipulate Visual Theatre Festival at our venue in Norwich.

As part of our commitment to increasing access to puppetry and related arts, we also offer a wide selection of puppet making and performance workshops for children and adults.
We regularly work with schools across East Anglia providing performances, craft-based workshops and puppetry talks and demonstrations.
We also offer a variety of opportunities for adults of all abilities and experience, including one-day courses and a weekly puppet-making evening class. We also provide professional development opportunities for adults through our programme of masterclasses exploring performance and making techniques in puppetry and related arts.
